Unicellular Organisms
Organisms that are only made of ONE cell.
They can ONLY be seen using a microscope. They can live by themselves or next to other cells
Each cell is identical and not specialized. Each cell can do ALL the characteristics of life
Multicellular Organism
Organisms that are only made of MORE than one cell
Most can be seen with your eye. You can look at their cells under a microscope.
Cells are organized to work together. They are specialized to look and function differently to do all the characteristics of life. (Ex. Muscle cells can contract and move).
